OUR SERVICES

Quality Concrete

Precision flatwork, foundations, and industrial floors — poured by our own crews with the equipment to do it right.

WHAT WE DO

Commercial & Industrial Concrete, Done Right

Quality Concrete is Gerber's dedicated concrete division. We self-perform all concrete work on our commercial and industrial projects — and take on standalone concrete jobs for clients across Michigan.

Our crews handle everything from large-scale industrial floor pours to building foundations, equipment pads, and site flatwork. We invest in the equipment and the people to deliver flat, durable, on-spec concrete — every pour, every time.

Quality Concrete Pour

WHAT WE DELIVER

Capabilities

Industrial Floors

Large-scale interior slab pours for manufacturing plants, warehouses, and processing facilities. Finished to spec for heavy equipment, forklift traffic, and production demands.

3D Laser Screed Technology

Precision flatwork using 3D laser-guided screeding equipment. Tighter tolerances, fewer joints, and a better-performing floor — especially on large pours.

Foundations

Building foundations, footings, and grade beams for commercial and industrial structures. Coordinated with our site development and underground crews for seamless sequencing.

Flatwork & Paving

Sidewalks, curb and gutter, aprons, and exterior slabs. Site concrete that holds up to Michigan weather and heavy use.

Equipment Pads

Structural pads for mechanical equipment, generators, HVAC systems, and industrial machinery. Sized and reinforced to manufacturer specifications.

Pump Truck Service

Our concrete pump truck allows us to place concrete in locations and at volumes that conventional methods can't reach — faster placement, less labor, better results.

NO PROJECT TOO SMALL

Your project's not too small.

We pour million-square-foot industrial floors — but we also pour the pad for your new generator. If you need concrete placed right, we're the call.

  • Replacement sidewalk or curb section
  • Equipment pad for a single unit
  • Small slab or apron pour
  • Concrete stair or ramp repair
  • Bollard or post foundation
  • Patch and repair on existing flatwork

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Common Questions

A 3D laser screed is a machine-guided screeding system that levels concrete to extremely tight tolerances using GPS and laser technology. It produces flatter floors with fewer joints — which means better performance for forklifts, racking systems, and heavy equipment. Not every concrete crew has this capability.
No. While we handle all concrete on Gerber's own commercial and industrial jobs, Quality Concrete also takes on standalone work for other contractors, facility owners, and municipalities.
Laborers support the pour — setting forms, moving material, and helping place concrete. Finishers are skilled tradespeople who smooth, level, and texture the surface to meet specifications. Both are essential to a quality result.
Yes, with proper precautions. We use heated enclosures, insulated blankets, and admixture adjustments to protect concrete during Michigan winters. Cold weather pours require more planning, but we do them regularly.

Yes. Trip hazards, cracked slabs, deteriorated curbing — if it's concrete, we can assess it and give you options.
