Gerber Construction Team

The team combines formal construction education, decades of hands-on experience, and long-term working relationships. Many of Gerber's project leaders have worked together across multiple projects over the years, creating consistency in how work is delivered and how problems get solved.

Jill Terryn

Owner / President

  • B.S. in Construction Management, Ferris State University
  • Onsite construction experience with pre-engineered buildings and remodels
  • Professional experience in estimating, job costing, procurement, and financial projections

Jill Terryn has been part of Gerber Construction's leadership since she and Bill assumed ownership in 2014. In her role, Jill provides strategic oversight and governance for the company, ensuring that the values and standards Gerber was built on continue to guide how the business operates and grows. While Bill leads day-to-day operations in the field and the office, Jill's focus is on the long-term health of the organization — from financial stewardship to culture and continuity.

Bill Terryn

Owner / Vice President

  • 18 years of onsite construction experience across residential, commercial, and industrial projects
  • Experience in supervision, scheduling, material purchasing, bidding, and coordination
  • Extensive work in healthcare and food processing facilities

Bill Terryn serves as Vice President and leads Gerber Construction's day-to-day operations across all four divisions. Bill oversees field execution, project delivery, equipment investment, and hiring — setting the standard on safety, quality, and accountability that defines how Gerber works. Under his operational leadership, the company has grown into a multi-division operation with full self-performance capability across commercial construction, underground utilities, concrete, and trucking. He is hands-on in the business every day.
